Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Once arrived at the Delhi airport, a representative of GeTS Holidays, a leading tour operator in India will receive guests for the Buddhist Sikkim Tour. All arrangements will be made for the guests to shift to the hotel, already booked by our tour operator where they will be spending the night.

Day 02: Around Delhi
Morning, guests will have a sightseeing tour of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Guided by GeTS Holidays representative, guests will visit prominent sites like the India Gate, Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Evening, you will be having a stroll through the shopping areas at Connaught Place and Janpath. Later in the evening, you will head back to the hotel to be put up for the night, there.
Day 03: Delhi - Darjeeling
Early morning as your Buddhism Sikkim tour begins, guests will fly over to the Bagdogra airport in Sikkim from where you will have a car drive over to the wonderful hill station of Darjeeling. A toy train ride will be a unique pleasurable experience. On the way, guests will have a stopover to visit the placid Mirick Lake and the Nepal Border where duty free items can be purchased. Once arrived at Darjeeling, guests will be checking in at the hotel for a night’s stay to relax after a tiring day.
Day 04: Sightseeing Darjeeling
Once had breakfast on the Buddhist Sikkim tour guests will have an entire day for sightseeing Darjeeling. Guests will tour important sites of attraction like the Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park housing the endangered red panda. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute established by the successful ascent of the Mount Everest-the highest peak in the world by the local hero Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary on 28 May 1953. Ropeway. Apart from these are Tensing Gumbo Rock, Tea Estate, Peace Pagoda and Rock Garden, which has now developed into a very attractive picnic spot with natural waterfalls. Later in the evening, guests will be heading back to the hotel to retire for the night.

Day 05: Darjeeling - Kalimpong
Early morning, guests will be heading for a drive to the Tiger Hill where magnificent view of the sunrise can be viewed over the "Kanchanjunga" and the great eastern Himalayan Mountains. Even Mount Everest can be seen from here. Guests will visit the Ghoom Monastery that contains the statue of the 'Future Coming Buddha' known as Maitreye Buddha with handwritten Buddhist manuscripts. Another attraction is the Batasia Loop; a gigantic railway loop where the toy train makes a 360 Degree turn that too offers a panoramic view of the Kanchanjunga Range. Afternoon, guests will drive over to Kalimpong, where you will check in at the hotel booked by the GeTS Holidays representative. Later, on the trails of the Buddhist Sikkim tour guests will have a sightseeing trip of Kalimpong that will include visit to Deolo Hill, the highest point in Kalimpong that offers breath-taking view of the plains. Also, you will be visiting the oldest Thonga Goma Monastery in the region and Mangaldham, a newly set up Buddhist place of worship. Guests will have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Kalimpong - Gangtok
Early morning, in the Buddhist Sikkim tour experience guests will head towards Gangtok where you will be checking in at the hotel guided by the GeTS Holidays representative. After refreshing for a while, you will spend a half-day with a Sikkim travel across Gangtok visiting Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms and Research Institute of Tibetology. Other tourist sites are the Enchey Monastery, Chorten that is an attractive stupa, Orchid Sanctuary and the famous Rumtek Monastery, the seat of the Karmapa Kagyu lineage outside Tibet. After this, guests will head back to the hotel.
Day 07: Around Gangtok
On this Buddhist tour in Sikkim, guests will be having a Sikkim tour, visiting the Thshangu Lake surrounded with beauty all over with colourful flowers and thick diverse vegetation. Guests will move over to the Baba Mandir, a small temple built on the banks of the lake after which you will have time to leisure at the hotel.
Day 08: Gangtok - Delhi
Your Buddhist tour in India comes to an end. Early morning, guests will head to the Bagdogra airport to the board the connecting flight to Delhi. Once reached, GeTS Holidays representative will make all arrangements for guests to catch a flight to their homeward destination.
