Day 01: Arrival at Chennai
As you arrive at Chennai you will first encounter our GeTS Holidays representative eagerly awaiting you at the airport as previously planned under your South India Ayurveda Tour.  You will welcomed most heartily and then will be transferred to your desired hotel as previously planned for an overnight stay.  Guests will then relax at their hotel rooms for the rest of the night to get prepared for an exciting journey hereafter on this South India itinerary. 

Day 02: At Chennai
Beginning the day with a delectable meal guests will proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of the city.  Guests will be escorted by an expert guide to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram for a sightseeing tour of the region.  At Kanchipuram one can shop for most exquisitely crafted silk saris.  Also, thereafter guests will be taken to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram.  Return to the hotel late in the evening for overnight stay in the region as planned under this South Indiatour. 

Day 03: Chennai- Trichy
This day of South India Ayurveda Tour guests will be moving to their next destination, Trichy.  On arrival in Trichy you will be escorted to the hotel booked previously by our GeTS Holidays tour operator in Chennai for overnight stay as per guest’s preference.  Take a short break for relaxation after which you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of the region.  First visit the beauteous temples and churches of the region which will include a visit to St. John’s Church, Tiruvanaikkaval Temple and Rock Fort Temple. 

Day 04: Trichy - Tanjore - Trichy
A journey to Tanjore is planned for this day of South India Ayurveda Tour.  Our representative will escort the guests to nearby region of Tanjore where they can devout a full day tour of the region including visit to Bragatheeswarar Temple, Saraswathi Mahal Library, Sivagangai Garden and Schwartz Church and museums in Tanjore.  Guests will then retreat to their hotel in Trichy for overnight stay.

Day 05: Trichy - Madurai
On this day guests will enjoy a trip to the next destination, Madurai.  Post breakfast move towards Madurai where on arrival our representative will escort them to the hotel booked for an overnight stay in the region.  Rest of the day enjoy a sightseeing tour of Madurai for visiting Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Mahal and Gandhi Museum.  Return to the hotel thereafter for an overnight stay in the region.

Day 06: Madurai - Periyar
Morning in the hotel at Madurai guests will be served a delectable meal and will be proceeded to their next destination, Periyar thereafter.  On arrival in Periyar guests will be accommodated in a jungle resort in the close proximity of Periyar National Park for enjoying a peep into the verdant vistas of the park.  Enjoy a tranquilizing ride on a boat on the pristine waters of Lake Periyar flowing amidst the park.  Return by the evening here for night stay. 

Day 07: Periyar - Kumarakom

The seventh day of this South India travel will begin with another journey to Kumarakom.  At Kumarakom guests will check into a resort situated on the banks of backwaters in Kumarakom to enjoy stay in the beauteous backwater destination of Kumarakom.  In the evening rejoice while taking a houseboat ride in the azure waters of Kumarakom Lake to rejuvenate amidst Nature’s abundance.  Guests will then spend the rest of the night in the backwater resort in Kumarakom

Day 08: At Kumarakom

This will be the first day of your Ayurveda tour in South India,and guests will be served a healthy meal first thing in the morning.  Thereafter on the banks of pictorial backwaters guests will enjoy rejuvenating experience of Ayurvedic treatments.  Rest of the day will be free for leisure and recreational activities in the region.

Day 09: At Kumarakom

Continuing with South India Ayurvedic tour guest will begin their day with another session of Ayurvedic treatments which will include massages done with various kinds of oils and herbs.  These treatments will be done as per physician prescription done beforehand to benefit and rejuvenate guests the most.  Guests will spend the rest of the day in the resort itself.

Day 10: Kumarakom - Kochi

Reviving the voyage on this day guests will be transferred to the next destination, Kochi post breakfast.  On arrival at Kochi our GeTS Holidays representative will escort guests to their desired hotel booked previously under this South India Ayurveda Tour.  Spend the rest of the day at the hotel itself.

Day 11: At Kochi

The day at Kochi will bring whole lot of options for sightseeing as the city is brimming with numerous tourist attractions.  First relish a delectable meal in the region and then proceed towards the elegant edifice of Mattancherry Palace.  This trip will be followed by a visit to Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets and Bolghatty Palace.  Return to the hotel thereafter for an overnight stay in the region.

Day 12: Kochi - Marai Beach

Begin the day with an appetizing meal and then get set for another voyage on this South India Ayurveda Tour.  Guests will be visiting Marai Beach on this day where on arrival our GeTS Holidays representative will accompany guests to the hotel booked for an overnight stay.

Day 13: At Marari Beach

The soothing vistas of Marai Beach and the palm fringed locale together create the perfect ambience for receiving Ayurvedic treatments.  On this day of Ayurveda travel in South Indiaguests will be given Ayurvedic massages and treatments after consulting with the experts.  These treatments will duly perform the magic of rejuvenating one’s body, mind and soul.  Rest of the day enjoy a casual stroll over the beach and return to the hotel thereafter.

Day 14: At Marari Beach

Continuing with this South India Ayurveda Tour guests will go through another course of their Ayurvedic treatments.  Guests will receive various massages and their entire being will get rejuvenated with fragrances of various oils and herbs used in the procedure.  Rest of the day will be free for leisure and relaxation in the region.

Day 15: Marai Beach - Kochi - Departure

The final day of this South India excursion will begin with a satiating meal in the morning.  Thereafter guests will begin their journey back to Kochi where on arrival our representative will escort them to the airport.  Our GeTS Holidays representative will avail all the pre arrangements to the guests for their comfortable and convenient journey back home.
