Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
The national capital city of India, Delhi is also one of the most vibrant cities of the nation. Situated in the northern part of the country, Delhi is an amalgamation of various cultures, religions and corresponding lifestyles. On the first day as you arrive in the city you will be first escorted to the hotel where you will stay for the night, here after securing your luggage and allotting you rooms of your preference our representative will take you on a quick Delhi tour. This day will begin first on a spiritual note with the visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Thereafter pay your homage to the ‘Father of the Nation’, Mahatma Gandhi and stroll in the tranquil environs of Raj Ghat- the Gandhi Memorial. Rest of the day will be devoted to visit to an ancient shopping centre of Old Delhi, Chandini Chawk. Guests can enjoy shopping for junk jewellery, and beauteous artefacts from this market. Return to the hotel late in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 02: Travel Delhi
The second day of Delhi Tours will begin with a delectable meal in the morning followed by a trip of the Luteyn’s Delhi. Guests will now enjoy a drive amidst the wide lanes of New Delhi to explore some fascinating sights of the region.
The New Delhi itinerary will begin with a trip first to the industrial area of Connaught Place where guests will visit an observatory known as Jantar Mantar where one can also explore the huge sun- dial called as Prince of Dials. Moving further guests will pay their tribute to the arch of triumph known as India Gate, built to commemorate thousands of soldiers who lost their lives in First World War. A drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President’s House will provide guests with a peep into the fascinating British architecture. One of the tallest edifices built by the ruler of Slave dynasty, Qutub Minar is a famous picnic spot as well and thus, guests will make a visit to this edifice next. Ending the trip with another religious site, guests will last visit gorgeous Laxmi Narayan Temple which is dedicated to the goddess of wealth, Goddess Lakshmi.
In the evening concluding Delhi tours guests will be escorted to the airport where our representative will make all the prior arrangements for their comfortable journey back home.
