Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
The dream city of Indians, Mumbai is also the commercial and entertainment centre city of India. As you arrive at Mumbai airport you will find our representative awaiting you as previously planned under this Caves Tour to Ajanta and Ellora. Day 02: Travel Mumbai
This day in Mumbai will be attributed to a city tour of this coastal region providing enough opportunities to explore the fascinating culture and radiance of the city. Thus, post breakfast guests will drive to the magnificent Gateway of India; situated on the water front this is a famous picnic spot for inhabitants of Mumbai.

From here, beginning your caves tour in Maharashtra you will cruise to the popular Elephanta Caves by motorboats. Situated on the top of the hill, the Elephanta caves houses huge pillars and 9 magnificent panels. After exploring these exquisite caves and paying tribute to three headed sculpture of Lord Shiva guests will retreat towards Gateway of India. Lunch can be organized in a fancy restaurant as per guest’s preference. The rest of the day is for tour to Prince of Wales Museum to explore some fine artistry of ancient times thereafter drive past fabulous promenade- Marine drive. Return to your hotel then for overnight stay.

Day 03: Mumbai - Aurangabad
This day of Caves Tour to Ajanta and Ellora is planned for a visit to another fascinating destination of Aurangabad. Post breakfast guests will be transferred to airport from where they will take a quick flight to Aurangabad where on arrival they will be escorted to the hotel booked for the night stay. The later part of the day will set for a short city tour to explore elaborate temples and astonishing rock cut caves. Visit the fine Buddhist and Hindu caves in the region and explore their fabulous cave paintings. Thereafter visit Daulatabad Fort an erstwhile Hindu stronghold. Thereafter visit Bibi ka Maqbara famous for its resemblance with Taj Mahal; also visit Panchakki, a water mill renowned for it’s under ground water channel traversing more than 8 kilometres in the mountains. Thereafter return to the hotel for night stay. |
