Day 01:Arrival at Mumbai
Our Tour India in Luxury itinerary is planned to take our esteemed guests on a fascinating trip around the most interesting cities of India staying at the best properties and relishing the best India has to offer. The tour begins in the city of Slumdog millionaire, Mumbai. On arrival you are welcomed in the traditional way with garlands by Gets team members who would help you in checking in the first Four Seasons hotel of India. Relax and get over the jet lag or just relax by the pool depending on what time is your flight.

Day 02: At Mumbai
The City of bollywood, Mumbai will bring a morning platter of exhilarating sights as guests proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mumbai.  First arrive at the Gateway of India, overlooking the sea it is the spot from where you will cruise by motorboats to Elephanta Caves.  The awe-inspiring site of rock cut temples of Elephanta dates back in Gupta Empire in the 6th century.  Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site these caves have kept their splendor intact.

After an enchanting experience at Elephanta you will cruise back to the Gateway of India which is also a famous hangout zone for all Mumbaikars (Residents of Mumbai).  Later continue with the sightseeing tour and visit the main highlights of the city along with our experienced English speaking guide. 

Visit to a local railways station is scheduled first where you will get to see a 125 year old trade of home made food called “Dabbawalla”.  The home cooked food is brought together from millions of  houses by Dabbawallas (individuals carrying home cooked food) and they distributed within hours to the respective offices.

 The sightseeing tour thereafter will include visit to Prince of Wales Museum, Taraporewala Aquarium, Parliament House, Marine Drive, Jain Temple and Hanging Garden.  Return to the hotel by evening and relax overnight.

To suffice guest’s preference a visit to Bollywood studios can be arranged at nominal extra cost.

Day 3: Mumbai - Udaipur

From one intoxicating city to another, this luxury tour to India will bequeath you with everlasting memories.  On this day escorted by our GeTS Holidays representative guests will be driven to the domestic airport to board their flight to Udaipur.  Udaipur has been rated as the best city in the world by Travel + Leisure, USA in the 2009 Readers' Poll. On arrival at the famed city of lakes, Udaipur guests will be driven to Udaivilas, a part of India’s best chain of hotels, Oberois Vilas resorts. Udaivilas a part of the Small Luxury hotels of the world has been ranked the top hotel in Asia and forth in the whole world by Condé Nast Traveler, USA. It has got over thirty top awards in the last few years of its inception.

Rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy the hotel.  Later in the evening guests will take a boat ride to reach exquisite Jag Mandir Palace in the middle of the beautiful Lake Pichola for an exclusive dinner. This beautiful monument overlooks the famous Lake Palace hotel . We will also try to arrange an exclusive meeting for our esteemed guests with His Highness, the King of Mewar if his schedule permits.  Feel like a Maharaja amidst elaborate palace setting and then return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: At Udaipur

First on this day let your spirit feel free with a session of Yoga and meditation followed by a delectable breakfast. Rest of the day at Udaipur is planned for a full day sight seeing tour. You will first visit a massive and beauteous palace complex, City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola. Along with our expert guide explore various gorgeous edifices inside palace complex including- Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum, Saheli Ki Bari which is an ornamental garden built for recreation of royal ladies and more. Later in the day enjoy a visit to Shilpgram to see the art and crafts of villages in Udaipur. Return to Udaivilas for night stay.

Post breakfast on this day of Luxurious India tour, guests will be driven to the airport at Udaipur where our GeTS Holidays representative will make all the arrangements for their comfortable flight to Jaipur.  On arrival you will be welcomed by our GeTS Holidays representative who will then escort you to the ultimate luxury dome, hotel Rajvilas. Counted amongst one of the best in the world, Rajvilas with its opulence recreates the era of grandeur and elegance for its guests. Relax for a while and then enjoy a session with our expert  chef to learn to cook delicious kebabs and Indian curry. 

In the evening proceed to a unique museum called Surabhi-containing largest collection of turbans.  Learn to tie the traditional headgear, turban here and enjoy a lavish dinner along with live folk entertainments such as puppet and dance performances. Return to Rajvilas for the night.

Day 06: At Jaipur

The day at Jaipur begins with your scheduled Yoga and meditation session under expert guidance. After an early breakfast guests will drive to the magnificent hilltop Amber Fort situated on the outskirts of the city.  Experience a Maharaja lifestyle, by riding elephant back to reach and explore the giant fort structure ornamented with beauteous Indian and Mughal architecture. In the afternoon an excursion to City Palace is planned on this India luxury tour. 

A visit to Albert Hall Museum will be an interesting and educative ride to the bygone era. While you explore carpets, paintings, metal and wood crafts, pottery, arms and weapons and more you will feel like part of history here. Albert hall is one of the most beautiful monuments of the city and we have arranged a delectable meal in a fine dining  restaurant located within its premises.  The city tour will also include a visit to the royal observatory, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal built for royal ladies to watch the daily processions of the city from have numerous beauteous carved windows called Jharokha.

Dinner will be another great experience as guests are taken to Chokhi Dhani – a resort with ethnic village settings.  It is famed for its lip smacking Indian & Rajasthani cuisines served amidst a village setting with live music, folk dances, puppet shows and more.  After an eventful day retire to your room at Rajvilas for overnight stay.

Day 07: Jaipur - Agra

Drive to the next destination on this day along with our GeTS Holidays representative.  We have planned your tour is such a manner that today would be a full moon night and we have taken special permission for you to view the Taj Mahal in the evening under the full moonlight (subject to availability). Basking in the light of the full moon the eternal emblem of Taj Mahal looks almost celestial. 

On arrival at Agra you will be accommodated in another awe-inspiring five star property Amarvilas. Amarvilas is also a member of the small luxury hotels of the world and has been ranked 4th most luxurious hotel in India by tripadvisor and 6th in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, USA. It is located only 600 meters away from the Taj Mahal and all their rooms, suites, lobby, bar and lounge offer breathtaking views of the monument. Enjoy your hotel in the afternoon and in the evening proceed to visit magnificent Taj Mahal in moonlit night. This is a memory you will not forget for a very long time.

Day 08:  Agra - Delhi

The day begins with a yoga and meditation session. After breakfast guests will enjoy half day sight seeing of Agra including Agra fort and many other famous monuments before proceeding to their next destination Delhi. As you enter the city you will encounter the effervescent culture of the bustling city.  In Delhi you would be staying at the flagship property of Oberois, The Oberoi, New Delhi. Spend the rest of the evening

rejuvenating and relaxing in the Spa and fitness center or just laze around the lovely pool. Dinner is arranged at a famous Indian restaurant Chor Bizzare. It has been voted as the best North Indian restaurant and tourist-must-visit restaurant by Times food guide. 

Day 09: At Delhi

0830 AM – Breakfast.
1500 PM – Bollywood blockbuster at Indias first Maharajs cinema halls Rajmandir  Evening Visit to Chowkidhani, an experience close to being in a village

After breakfast your sightseeing tour of Delhi begins with a visit to the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid; climb its minaret to enjoy an absolutely captivating sight of tall buildings of New Delhi evolving from the end of Old Delhi’s narrow lanes. This visit will be followed by other highlights of Old Delhi such as Red Fort a significant landmark, this red sandstone edifice has made city proud by making its place in UNESCO World Heritage Sites List.  Visit the old bustling market of Chandni Chowk for shopping.  A rickshaw ride in the undulated streets of Chandni Chowk is an absolute must.

As you drive further you will come across a modern façade of New Delhi.  Visit the highlights such as Parliament House and a martyr’s memorial- India Gate.  In the evening visit the Red Fort again to view the Sound & Light Show here. Overnight at The Oberoi New Delhi

Day 10: Delhi- Back Home

After breakfast our GeTS Holidays representative will escort you to the airport for a comfortable trip back home.
